3 Things About Me

  1. Personal: I was born in San Jose in 1993, but my parents moved us to Modesto when I was at a young age. I have been in Modesto ever since, with a few years living in Merced when I was studying at UC Merced. Go Bobcats!

  2. Family: J&J has been a part of my family since I can remember. My father used to take me on drives in his little white J&J pickup truck, and his experience on the field translated to handy man work on our home I grew up in. I learned the basics of construction through helping out my dad with small tasks during all his remodeling work. My mother has always been a great support to my dad by raising my two younger brothers and I. My girlfriend Destiny and I have been together for around 4 years now.

  3.  Hobbies: I believe my favorite hobby would have to be soccer, from watching matches, to playing competitively, to just getting together with others to kick the ball around. I also really enjoy hiking, and there is no shortage of beautiful hiking trails all over northern California. The foothills of the Sierra Nevada are a short drive away from where I live, so I never hesitate to visit the forest with friends or family. Others hobbies include trying new foods and cooking, collecting sneakers, and driving fun cars. A wise man once said, “Smiles per gallon over miles per gallon.”

What I Like About Working at J & J Acoustics

J&J places a lot of emphasis on the family environment, and it truly is a core value of the company. From my first day here I have always felt welcomed and comfortable with all my coworkers, and I believe that translates to real teamwork. We all work together and depend on each other to get the job done, and constant communication really helps with this. I look forward to learning more about the industry, earning more responsibility, and the opportunity to grow within the company. I am proud to be a part of the newest generation of J&J employees and I am excited for what the future brings for the company.

Thank you, J&J!
