3 Things About Me

  1. Few people know that I started my career as a computer programmer. Although the path from programing to finance is not typically a straight line, there are a lot of similarities between software development and construction.  Both build something for someone, and I learned that quality and functionality matter.
  2. I’m the proud dad of 2 children.  My son Ryan just graduated from Menlo College, and my daughter Cortney just competed her first semester at Baylor. Sic ‘em Bears!
  3. I enjoy sailing, I love to flyfish, and I like the occasional round of golf.   Go Sharks!!!

What I Like About Working at J & J Acoustics

Having worked at many places throughout my career, I can say hands-down that the culture and community of J & J Acoustics is the best.  There are so many benefits of a positive work culture, but one is that you attract and retain quality people.  For a construction company, the quality of the people is often reflected in the quality of what is built.  I’m a Bay Area native and when driving around with family and friends, I often find myself pointing out buildings built by our skilled employees.  Even though I didn’t hang any drywall or tape any joints, I have a sense of pride just because I am part of the team.
