3 Things About Me

  1. My parents moved to Calif. from Portugal in 1967. My mom passed away 5 years ago but I still have my dad and younger sister. I’m the dad of 4 boys Andrew, Dillon, Nathan, and Zachary. My boys and family inspire me to do the best I can and appreciate life to the fullest.

  2. I’m 54 yrs. Old, I was born in Newman California. At the age of 2, the family packed up and moved to San Jose and I’ve been here ever since. Graduating from Independence High School. Then joining the Marine Corps, an experience I keep alive every time I refer to anyone by calling them Crazy. It’s how all the Marines on base spoke to each other. I then worked at the Fairmont Hotel and then moved to a manager’s position at San Jose Live. After the sports bar closing, I joined the Union and started my life in the trades. I was hired on with J&J 4 years ago and look forward to many more years.

  3. I enjoy playing sports with my boys and working out at the gym. I have a record collection that’s up to 800 records.  Being outdoors at the coast or on a trail ride on my mountain bike is also my way to relax.

What I Like About Working at J & J Acoustics

I enjoy working for J&J because I feel valued as not just an employee but also as me as a person. The relationships starting at the office all the way to out in the field have been positive, and supportive. The focus on quality was my introduction to J&J on my first day with Felipe Lopez, and that focus has been repeated every time with every foreman for the last 4 years. I have made lots of good friends.  All with unique qualities and life stories but still with the same common focus of making J&J the best company to have on any job site. That is what makes coming to work fun. Thanks, J&J for including me with the team.
