3 Things About Me

  1. Personal: I was born in 1964 in Gilroy, CA. My parents moved us to Idaho when I was 4 years old. When I was 22 I moved back to California. When I turned 40, I moved back to Idaho for 7 years. In 2011, once again I  moved back to California and found a job working for J&J Acoustics.
  2. Family: I met my wonderful wife Jen in 1991. We’ve been married for 27 years and she is my best friend. We have a son 26 and a daughter 23. I also have another daughter that is 36, I am proud of all my kids. Time sure does fly by! Jen and I are discovering what empty nesting is all about!
  3. Hobbies: When I am off work I spend my time at home watching sporting events, grilling, or smoking meat on the Trager. I enjoy being outside walking local trails, going to live concerts, and being in the mountains or at the coast. California really has so much to do, whether it’s locally or for a weekend getaway. I really enjoy exploring new places.

What I Like About Working at J & J Acoustics

The best thing about working at J&J Acoustics:

One good thing about J&J Acoustics is my steady paycheck. The drywall trade has allowed me the chance to raise a family, buy a house, and make a good living in this world. My life wouldn’t be what is without that check from J&J every week, so thank you!

I started drywall in 1986, plumb bobs and magnetic levels are how we did it. When I came to J&J ten years ago I saw a family-owned company that was modern and trying new ideas. They continue to grow as a  company and they work on so many great projects in the Bay Area. We have done some fantastic projects to be proud of!  I also like the pictures on The J&J Acoustics Band!

The shop and office support is an incredible resource for all of us in the field. Anything we might need is just a phone call away, at J&J Acoustics “Teamwork” is real!

It has been a rough road since COVID hit and I’ve seen our company pull together and tackle the unknown. Very challenging to overcome, yet J&J Acoustics huddled up and went forward. This is because we have a lot of great people working together.      I’m very proud to be a small part of it all.
