3 Things About Me

  1. I was born and raised in San Jose and graduated from San Francisco State University.
  2. My husband and I had to cancel our planned May 2020 wedding due to the pandemic, but we ran away and eloped in September 2020, just the two of us!  We recently bought my grandparents’ home in Santa Teresa and are loving being homeowners and working on the house to make it our own.
  3. We have 2 girl dogs that are our whole lives! Rooney is our 3.5 year-old Golden Retriever/Siberian Husky mix, and Bo is our 1.5 year-old Golden Retriever.  We love taking them to the beach, lakes, mountains, anywhere that they can run and get all that puppy energy out!

What I Like About Working at J & J Acoustics

I was laid off at the beginning of the pandemic and was home job searching tirelessly for 9 long months.  When I was lucky enough to interview here Jim Hansell and Joe Jean told me about the environment and the family-like atmosphere of the office.  I didn’t know what I was getting myself into, but I was excited to be a part of the team and be back to work.  On my first day here, I didn’t know what to expect.  The office was empty, everyone was masked up, doors were closed, and it was quiet.  But every single person who walked by my office window stopped and welcomed me to the team, over and over again. Everyone was so endearing and excited to have me here! It felt just like what Jim and Joe had described to me, and I knew that this was the place I needed to be.
